It sounds like SQL Prompt is struggling with how it processes whitespace before INNER JOIN. A tab character without trailing spaces might be causing a parsing issue, leading to a hang. Have you tried adjusting formatting or checking for hidden characters? It reminds me of how an animated app might freeze if it encounters unexpected input—like a missing frame in an animation disrupting smooth playback. Could be worth testing with a space instead of a tab to see if that resolves it!

one problem though.
i entered a snippet that looked like this: " INNER JOIN" (i.e., a tab character followed by the text 'INNER JOIN' and without trailing spaces or tabs).
When i hit "Test Snippet" the program hung (while showing some flickery animated text in the test snippet text box).
