SQL Prompt is working just fine for me in Management Studio and Query Analyzer, but won't work in Enterprise Manager. Is anyone else having this issue? I'm using the SQL pane on a table view.

Hi Kamsar,
The Enterprise Manager integration only works when you're editing a stored procedure / view etc. It won't work in the view that you're using. -
It would be most useful if you could use it in the create query [and view] windows.
For starters it would remove my reliance on a constantly crashing Access (which I use because I can pre-write queries with multiple optional parameters) -
It would be very useful if SQL Prompt worked within the Open Table -> Query SQL pane. Is this feature being considered at all?

Hi,
I am running EM version 8.0, and SQLPrompt is as dead as a dodo. Doesn't work in any screen, and won't activate. :-(
I have no problems with it in Query Analyser. I have checked the configuration, and it is configured to work in both environments.

Hi David,
Sorry for the problems you're having. Are you running an English language version of Windows/SQL Server/Enterprise Manager? As Neil's already said SQL Prompt only works in certain screens in Enterprise Manager, but if it's not working at all that's a bug. Also, we've noticed problems with non-English language installations due to incorrect character mapping from the virtual keyboard.
Many thanks,
