How can we help you today? How can we help you today?

Does not work at all on my machine...

Running windows XP pro, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server Management Studio, VS .NET 2005 AND 2003. Tool does not work at all in ANY of these environments! Am I missing something?
Icon is present in tray, can view and modify the settings screens - no go in any edit window though.

I expected that this would work when writing SQL in ANY window in any of the environments listed (e.g. "open table" in the SQL pane etc) but it does not. Seems to work only when writing SQL in a stored proc or Query window. Make sense? Is this "as designed"?

It won't work in the 'open table' pane in Enterprise Manager, but it should work elsewhere.

This version will only work on English language systems though. Are you using a different language?

    English version only -

It does work elsewhere - just expected that it would work in the "open table pane" as well. This is true in this view in enterprise manager, SQL Server Management Studio and in the VS.NET 2003 and 2005 versions as well.

Any plans to make this a feature of future versions? Essentially, ANYWHERE you can write DML or DDL?

Thanks BTW, GREAT PRODUCT and the price is just right!

    Hi there lighttrain,

Sorry for the problems you've been having, and glad you like the product. We're certainly going to be working on making it work consistently across all supported editors in version 3, since a few people have reported issues with it not working properly even in SQL Query Analyzer and Management Studio. At this stage though I can't say exactly which editors we'll be providing support for in version 3, or whether there will be any additional supported editors, as we're still in the planning stages of the project. Sorry I can't be more direct help at this time.

    Many thanks,
