I like now that I can see the saved connections.
Overall it seems to be a bit more stable in that intelesense is finding more of what I want.
There needs to be a way to only show info for the currently selected db in SQL Management Studio - So when you select a db from the dropdown it only gives you options for that db. I do see the ignore the specified database option but this would not work most of the time because I would spend more time in there adding and removing databases.
Their needs to be an option or something so that when the intelesense list pops up and you start typing something and you hit delete the list does not dissapear. Currently in VS2005 if intelesense pops up it will not disspear unless you hit escape or tab on an item.
I think more often than not I start typing something.. select * from and the list pops up.. then I start typing and it may not be exactly what I want so I hit delete and the list dissapears. (Drives me NUTS!!!)
I tried adding a new item to make the select list popup.. I added a , so that when I am putting in fields .. such as field1, field2, field3, it would hopefully popup after I typed in the , it does work about 5% of the time. but it definilty has problems if I move to the middle of a statement and start editing.
I dont think it needs to popup and tell me every time I boot up that it will reside in the background.
