SQL Backup Encryption

We are using SQL Backup Pro for backups and restores and we are encrypting the files. I know that you need to set a password to encrypt your files. Does the password get encrypted along with the data?

    Hi Kermi,

    The password isn't stored with the encrypted backup at all. This means that it will be secure, but the downside is that if you lose your password, you won't be able to recover the file...
