Hi Derek,

Encrypted objects can't be scripted in SQL Comapre or SQL Data Compare,
just as they can't be scripted in Enterprise Manager. If you have a clear
object that you want to be encrypted, you'd have to add those statements to
the migration script manually also.

    FYI -- SQL Compare 3.18 and up carry an ADD WITH ENCRYPTION... option in its' list of options. In addition, it can also decrypt objects that are encrypted, provided the user running the software is a SYSADMIN or SECURTITYADMIN on the SQL Server.
