it was taking up to 2 minutes to open the tables folder for a 120 table database. ran profiler and found that tons of red gate calls were being made. uninstalled source control and it opened the folder instantly. Any thoughts?

Which version are (were) you using? This was a known bug recently, but the latest download should resolve it.
