I am finding that the dependency tracker doesn't take columns into consideration. It was able to find views that referenced missing tables, but I have a few that referenced invalid columns as well. It would be very helpful to have this type of tracking added to the product.

Hi Lewis,
Thanks for this feedback. You're not alone in asking for this, and it's a great idea. Unfortunately it is going to be too much work for us to add that functionality for this release, although we might do so for future releases.
We *are* planning to display the source SQL for objects in the database, which ought to help a bit, although that hasn't been definitely scheduled to go in, so we'll have to see how things go. I think it's fairly likely to be in there, but not absolutely definitely... hmm, could that response be any more weaselly? Apologies that I can't be more specific at this stage.
Many thanks, -
further more on this issue, i would like to be able to find all objects that are using a specific column in a specific table

Hi Dan,
Thanks for that. I'll make a note, since as and if we added support for column specific dependency tracking, that'd be a good feature to add.
All the best,
Dan
