Track objects with no dependencies

Hi there

I've just downloaded the BETA 1 og SQL Dependency tracker and i think it looks really great.

One thing I really miss, is the ability to select a database and let the tool find all objects without any dependencies at all. This could be great for cleaning out old items in a database. e.g. find all functions without any reference, or views.

I know I can add the to the project and then look throu all of the objects, but it would be easier if i could filter from the beginning.

    Hi Dennis,

Thanks for getting back to us. That sounds like quite an interesting idea. It's possible we might be able to do something about this before the final release, but obviously we'll need to review it along with all the other work we need to do. The problem is that at the point when objects are added to the diagram we don't actually know what their dependencies really are, however once on the diagram it would be possible to add a function to identify all unconnected objects. I'm assuming this is what you're after rather than any objects on which nothing depends, but which depend on other objects in the DB? At any rate, we'll certainly discuss this as a possible enhancement for the final release.

    Thanks,
