I found that I have 89 messages (hidden in the lower-right of my status bar) and when I clicked on it, I got a dialog with a list of objects it couldn't resolve. This is a great list, and exactly what I want to know!

But, I can't print it, or copy it to another area to work with. If I click the "Copy" button, it only copies the highlighted issue and I cannot select multiples.

Is there another way to get at this list in such a way that I can turn it into a working document to clean up my database from references to missing objects?

I'd really like to be able to copy the entire list to a tab-delimted format which would paste easily in Excel or smoething like it. The current copy format is a multi-line message format (a lot like the event viewer format) which doesn't do me much good if I'm copying in bulk.

    Diddo, diddo, diddo.

another button to "copy all" is just too obvious.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback: that is an extremely good point. We'll aim to have some mechanism to allow export or copy of multiple (or all) messages in for the final release.

It would be useful if this window was not modal so that the messages could be investigated/reviewed via the Object on Diagram / Object Dependencies windows.

For example, I would like to be able to consider each message in turn, click on the object, review the dependencies and decide whether to ignore the warning or fix the object definition to remove the error.

    thanks,
    nigel.

    Hi Nigwil,

Thanks for your feedback. That's also a very interesting point: a non-modal dialog here would certainly provide more flexibility, and would mean you could do a review without needing to copy and paste the messages into a separate application. Obviously I can't promise anything given that we already have a great deal to do before the final release, but we'll certainly look into this as an option.

    Many thanks,
