It took the RC1 build a LONG time to load for me. The previous build loaded much faster. It got to a point to where I was unsure if it was hung or not as the splash screen visited for quite a while. My guess is that it was doing some sort of SQL network discovery because switch connected to my dev box was lit up like a Christmas tree during this time.

I don't have any problems when RC1 starts up. It starts normally. -
Hi there,
we make an asynchronous call to get a list of available sql servers during start up. This should not affect the amount of time for the user interface to get up and running as all the work happens on a separate thread.
If this happens everytime, could you attach a debugger and tell us what method is running during the big delay?
