Problems installing to IIS 8

I get a 404 when attempting to connect to localhost:8081; here's some error info:
Module: IIS Web Core
Notification: MapRequestHandler
Handler: StaticFile <-- isn't that wrong?
Error Code: 0x80070002
Requested URL: http://localhost:8081/UrlRouting.axd
Physical Path: C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Monitor 4\Website\UrlRouting.axd

Logon User: Anonymous

I'm sure it's something in my IIS setup on Windows8, but I don't know what. Any pointers?

This is not an error that I have come across before. However, here are some links that you may find useful.

If you still have problems, then you could try reinstalling using the Mono XSP WebServer service that comes with the SQL Monitor installer. At the very least it will confirm whether the problem is with the installation or with the IIS configuration.
