Profile not working for remote server

Hi,

I have window XP machine and installed trial version of ANTS Performance Profiler 8 .

I would like to run profiler for my dev server application from my local machine. will it be possible?

eg. I am trying http:/deveservername/ApplicaitonName/logon.aspx is url
it is not starting profiler. no error.

it is working fine with http://localhost/ApplicaitonName/logon.aspx and showing profiler results.

It willbe helpful if you an inform what could be reason?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post!

    Regarding your query, I'm afraid the profiler can only work with applications that are running locally, so you will need to install the profiler on your dev server in order to profile http:/deveservername/ApplicaitonName/logon.aspx

    We do have a feature request for remote profiling and I've +1'd this on your behalf. Many thanks for the feedback!
