Reset unread alerts in SQL monitor 2.3

Hi,
I have undread alerts flood making the application very slow. I would like to flag all current unread alerts as read or if possible do this with some criteria.
Could you provide some script or tool to do this?
From the UI you can flag only 200 alerts at one time.

    If you Select All then a green bar appears which gives you the option to "Select all alerts across all pages". You can then apply any changes to all the alerts. This should have been true in version 2.3 too.
