Restore from Mapped Drive not possible?

I'm trying to document my restore process and I have just realized that when browsing for a file to restore from, it appears that I only have access to physical drives.

Would it be possible for this limitation to be removed? I only keep the most recent backup on the server and move previous day's backups to a separate NAS device.

    You should be able to enter the name of a file on a mapped drive directly in the text boxes e.g. \\backupstore\pubs\pubs_full.sqb

    While that seems like it should work, I would still like to request for future versions that mapped drive show up in the directory browser along with the physical drives.
