View Refreshes (not)

The release notes for version 4 mentions view refreshes. It's the main reason we upgraded. But it does not behave as expected. We still have to pick through our views (watching dependencies) and execute sp_refreshview view by view. This seems to be the same with the include dependencies checked or unchecked (though I admit testing has not been thorough).

We were hoping sp_refreshview would be included at the appropriate spot in the sync script, thus automating the process, but this does not appear to be so.

So please: manage our expectations and/or give us some tips on how to get this automated.

    Hello,

    I've been told that in some circumstances, an sp_refreshview is not scripted. I don't know yet exactly what the circumstances are, but I should have an answer for it soon.
