For this particular database> right click on it.> go to properties>Options> The compatibility level was set to SQL Server 7.0. Changed the compatibility level to SQL Server 2005(90)
Now i am able to view the dependencies. This is how i resolved the issue. -

This happened with 4 out of 15 databases. Why is this happening
I tried to right click on the database from Management Studio and then clicked on view dependency tracker.
Its just shows the empty sql dependency tracker with nothing added to the project.
It works perfectly with the other databases.
