Product Suggestion

A feature that I think would be beneficial is to list indexes as a top level object that can be compared. The same way that tables, views, and SPs can all be seperated now. Many times in a P&T situation I am having to compare all of the tables, then click through the comparison results one-by-one to identify where there are index changes that need to be promoted. Having this at a top level would expedite this process.

BTW.. The product simply rocks! I am impressed with the speed efficiencies I see with version 4. Many times I am working in a slow WAN type setting and it is now much faster when bandwidth is an issue.

    Hi Brett,

    Thanks. That may be worth looking into, as well as triggers. There has been quite a lot of interest in being able to compare only triggers. I've referred users to SQL Toolkit to write custom applications that will do this. I would imagine that you could do the same thing for indexes.
