Custom Metric

I have created a custom metric which tests fine for both instances 2008R2 and 2012 returning the data i'd expect

In the analysis section the data from the 2008R2 instance is graphed so is being collected but no data is collected from a 2012 instance.

Are there any reasons a metric would work for 2008R2 but not 2012?

    Assuming that in both cases the t-sql query returns a single numeric value and that the tests are returning values, then it is difficult to say why this would be happening for you.

    Hi Chris,

    I have checked the logs in the location described hwoever the file is empty?

    Our version of SQL monitor has recently been upgraded to 3.5.0.497, could this have impacted the logs?
