How do I delete this question?

I put in a question, and then fixed the problem and realised the question was irrelevant.
I want to delete this question but cannot see how.

    There should be an X in the upper-right-hand corner. If there isn't, let me know the topic title and I'll do it.

    The question I want to delete is this actual question! There is an edit/delete option in the top right hand corner, but when I click on it I cannot see where I can then delete it.

    Originally this question asked for something else, but I wanted to delete it as I realised I was not explaining the problem accurately.
