Error when trying to run Console

I get this error when SQL Back up Console in 4.0


Could not load the DLL C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Binn\xp_sqlbackup.dll, or one of the DLLs it references. Reason: 193(%1 is not a valid Win32 application.).

This is a two instance 64 bit server. Do you know what I need to do to correct the problem

    We are not supporting SQL Backup 4.0 on 64-bit versions of SQL Server.
    The next major release will run on 64-bit SQL Servers, planned for Q3 2006 (if not sooner)

    I was told the SQL 2005 32 and 64 bit versions would be supported. Is this not true?

    Only 32-bit versions of SQL Server (2000 and 2005) installed on 32-bit or 64-bit operating systems are supported.
