Total time of LOCs and CPU Time With Children of method.

Hi,

I calculate total time of LOCs in a method. Then I compare it with CPU Time With Children of that method.
But total time of LOCs is not equal with CPU Time With Children. Almost CPU Time With Children > total time of LOCs.
Does ANTS tool calculate CPU Time With Children based on time of LOCs ? If not, how is it (CPU Time With Children) calculated?

    Time with Children is the more trustworthy value as it is a measured value- lines of code is less accurate as it is a calculated value. We don't recommend using the times of lines of code if it is accuracy you need- use method timings instead.
