Backup job failed with exception

Hi,

In my SQL Agent I see the following error:

Executed as user: xxxx. SQL Backup 3.2.0, (c) Red Gate Software Ltd 2004 - 2005 Serial number: xxxx Backing up xxxx (full database) to c:\xxxxx_20060111 200000.sqb ... Backup data size : 4.313 MB Compressed data si. Process Exit Code -1073741571. The step failed.

In the event log I see the following event details:

Reporting queued error: faulting application SqlBackupC.exe, version 3.2.0.1, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x00015dea.

It appears the backup succeeded... the .sqb was generated (same size as previous day's backup) but the log file is missing.

Any idea why this happened?

    Do you have a debug version? If you do, use that instead and send to support the log file. Thanks.

    Are you using 3.2.0.1, or a later version? Contact support to get a debug version.
