restore with password does not work

when we do the back up we use <ENCRYPTEDPASSWORD>password</ENCRYPTEDPASSWORD> via the extended stored proc. but when you try to restore the file via the GUI the password you use does not work and there is no documentation that i can find to tell you what else you should try.

the only thing that seems to work so far (restore not done) is the using the same <ENCRYPTEDPASSWORD>password</ENCRYPTEDPASSWORD> with the restore using the extended stored procedure...

    What version of SQL Backup are you using (3.2.0 or later)? Is your password more than 16 characters long? If so, when you perform a restore, enter only the first 16 characters of your password.
