If these are scheduled then thw Wizard would have created SQL Agent jobs and you just need to disable them under SQL Server Agent/Jobs in SSMS.

That's definitely a solution. Was hoping you can disable a job via the SQL Backup GUI.

There are times where we would like to stop the backup/restore process while we update our infrastructure and I haven't found an easy way to disable existing jobs.
