Hi,
At present, yes, all databases are monitored. You can, however, configure alerting per database (although only for some alerts, like 'backup overdue', 'database unavailable') by visiting Configuration > Alert settings > [choose database].

Sorry for the delay in replying.
If you navigate to Configuration > Alert Settings and then select the relevant database in the tree on the left hand side, you should seem a list of those alerts that apply to this database. You can then configure these alerts at this level, or diable/enable them.

How is it possible to monitor only certain databases?
At present, it seems by default, they are all monitored.
