Work around for SQL 2000?

I get this error ('HAS_PERMS_BY_NAME' is not a recognized function name.) when trying to submit my changes. I thought this worked with SQL2000 DB? was I wrong?

    I'm afraid SQL Source Control 3 isn't supported for connections to SQL Server 2000 databases - the supported versions of SQL Server are detailed on the product page here:

    HAS_PERMS_BY_NAME is used by SQL Source Control to check a user's permissions given their current credentials, but it's not available in SQL Server 2000. I'm not currently aware of a workaround for this, but I'll let you know if I can find anything. Sorry I can't be more help!
