Monitoring stops and don't start again

Hi,
Sometimes monitoring stops, usually during maintenance of the machines or other extended periods of downtime. I think a remeber that I've read somewhere thhat this is by design. Do you have any plans to change this? I think a proper monitoring system should pick up on a change of status !

    Yes, you are correct that this is by design. The reason for this design is explained here. We do not plan to change this behaviour.
