sql compare 10 is very slow

I yesterday installed Sql Compare 10 over 9.5. If i start the program it takes a long time. 55 Seconds I'm looking to the splash screen, after the main window opens, it takes another 35 seconds before it can be used.

The compare itself is as usual, but after the compare it again takes 35 seconds before the results are being shown.

I have windows 7 64-bit laptop with 8GB memory and it normally is very fast.

Can you please see if this is something that can be improved?

    Sorry you're having trouble with SQL Compare 10.

    I'm not aware of any changes that would cause it to take longer to start up.

    Do you still have SQL Compare 9 installed as well? If you start them together, does v10 still take much longer to start?

    If it takes longer, I would try reinstalling v10 and see if that helps.

    Let me know how you get on, as I'll dig a bit deeper if there is definitely a difference.
