Hello,

I am building a proof of concept for Monitoring 2.3 and each time I add a server, I can connect to the host ok but each time I connect to the SQL instance (which is default) I get this error:

10 Aug 2011 12:41 PM File List Files: S:\MSSQL\LOG Cannot connect DirectoryNotFoundException Could not find a part of the path '\\db48\S$\MSSQL\LOG'.

I am using a administrator login for the host and an sa account for SQL server.
Help.

regards

Andy

    Hi Andy,

From the base monitor machine, could try accessing \\db48\S$\MSSQL\LOG using the administrator account? Does this work?

    Thanks,

I suppose someone could have disabled administrative shares on the computer using Computer Management. You may want to check there.

Thanks for the replies, all our admin shares are disable on all boxes, it's company policy, can it be pointed directly at the folder if I can get a share granted?

Unfortunately, SQL Monitor doesn't currently support this. I will raise feature request for this.

    Thanks,
