Any way to reduce background polling?

We are currently evaluating SQL Source Control for use in our enterprise. One issue that our DBA identified was the massive amount of CPU and I/O this product uses on the SQL Server.

I assume this is due to the background polling that it uses to determine changes, however it would appear that this product is polling far too often for our needs. Is it possible to reduce the amount of polling this product performs? If not, we will not be able to use it in our environment.

Thanks.

    It is.
There is a post here detailing what needs to be done, and the downside of doing so.

Nice one James! That has helped me out as well as I did find using profiler without setting a filter a touch more annoying as all the events were from SSC.

It would be nice to make this "easier" to configure from within the GUI though as I'm sure many others would want to fine tune/disable polling.
