Hi there,
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, SQL Compare runs the backup task as a separate entity to the actual sync script. There is nothing to stop you through scripting out either a native backup job or a backup job using SQL Backup to create a back and bolting that on to the beginning of the sync script generated by SQL Compare.
We are contemplating adding pre and post deployment scripts, where you could just add in your own backup script but this isn't going to happen for a while yet I'm afraid, if implemented at all.

But the script generated doesn't include backup script.
Is anywhere I can generate a backup script in SQL compare?
