Hi Jon,
Could you login to this instance via SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) and connect to this particular instance and verify if the databse listed in Overview is actually offline or not?
Thanks,
Priya -
hi
all of the databases are online and working fine (this is a production server)
they are all showing as offline in sql monitor
this worked fine in 2.2

Hi Jon,
Could you please email a screen shot of Overview page and SSMS (showing the database) to priya.sinha@red-gate.com?
Thanks,
Priya -
Having the exact same problem. Monitoring a SQL 2008 instance, all databases are showing offline. Still collecting data though.

gmjones - Would you be able to email through your log files to fiona.gazeley@red-gate.com
The following article explains how to get your log files.

Many thanks

Fiona, thanks for the followup. This was a new install, and the error automagically cleared up after a couple of hours. Support already has the log files for research, and has flagged the ticket as inactive.

Just upgraded to 2.3
We're monitoring a few servers and all is well, however, the 1 and only cluster we're monitornig is showing the databases as offline when viewed from the overview page.
The status shows as OK (on the overview page), the status on the configuration>monitored servers is showing as Monitoring/Connected, and the monitoring show log is clear and highlighted in green.
Not sure what to check to get them shown as online in this page (everything else seems ok - ie alerts etc)
Happy to post a screen shot if it helps
Thanks
