Is there a way to tell SQL Compare 8 not to compare SQL Users?

There are a couple of things you can do to help - firstly, once you get to the Comparison Results, you can click "Filter setup", and un-tick "Users" in the list.

The other thing that may achieve what you want is to edit your Project Options, and tick to ignore things such as Permissions, User Permissions & Role Membership, and any other items you require.

Thanks for the Info. The Project Settings was the key to what I wanted to accomplish.
