Connection Failed (Bad data)

Troubleshooting SQL Monitor is proving to be a pita.

here is another error I am getting:

15 Dec 2010 1:17 PM WMI InvokeMethod: Win32_Process.Handle="8936" GetOwner Bad data ManagementException Not found

    Hi,

    This error indicates that WMI data collection is not working as expected.

    Could you please verify that the user account you are using to connect to the host machine and SQL Server has required permissions. The list of permissions could you found here:

    Also, SQL Monitor uses various data collections methods. Could you also please test that these are working in your environment. This is the help page describing how to test each of the method:
