Is there a way to do an SVN post-commit hook so we can update the QA databases when a developer checks in the code? According to a couple of articles I found on this site, I would need to set up scripts using SQL Compare Pro. I was told during the evaluation, that syncing the QA databases was possible with NO additional server licenses.

Hi there,
Thanks for your post. It is correct that you would need to use SQL Compare PRO to do this.
You could, I guess, do this manually if you all linked up the QA database to SVN and performed a manual update against the QA from SVN whenever a change was checked in, but I would personally suggest using SQL Compare PRO as that will probably be cleaner.
HTH!
Pete
