What about other mainenance plan tasks.

Does redgate backup do any of the other mainenance tasks such as shrink database or reindex or update stats?

or do i need to do this as a separate job?

    SQL Backup does not perform any of the maintenance tasks you mentioned. You'll have to set these tasks up separately.
