  It's something we'll consider, especially if we get more requests.

  We're looking at the next couple of weeks for a beta, all going well. the support we're adding allows command lines to be specified for each of the source control actions, which means that *any* source control system will be configurable, in theory.

  Thank you, that was quick. Is the showing of history in ssms with git expected to be added later? Or is that an inherent limitation in git support.

  We haven't prioritized this on our backlog just yet. Although GIT is increasing in popularity, it has quite a small share of the market. Once adoption has increased, and we see more demand, we'll add the feature.
