MSSQL 2005 support

Hi:

I am working on a project that will not be released before the end of this year, but when it is released it will be for MSSQL 2005, so we want to start doing our development with Visual Studio 2005 (beta 2) and MS SQL 2005 (beta 2).

Can you tell me if I can use the current version of SQL Compare with this setup? If not, when can we expect a version that is compatible? We will not make the jump to the new environment without this product as we use it so extensivly and the change would not be viable.

    Martin,

    SQL Compare already works with databases that were upgraded to SQL 2005. The queries that it performs against the system tables have been rewritten to use Microsoft's new SQL 2005 system table schema.

    The minute that you start expoliting the new features of SQL 2005, SQL Compare begins to fail. For instance creating an assembly in the database is not supported yet.

    These improvements will be made later, after the official release of SQL 2005.
