On three of our instances of sql, our backup service terminated unexectedly with this error:
SQL Backup Agent startup error: error initialising IPC objects. Error creating mutex (already exists): Global\SQBMutex_InstanceName
When we go to put it back online using the cluster admin, it comes right back up with no problems.
What could be the cause of this and resolution?
We recently changed the startup parameters to not use the -sqbdebug. Would this have anything to do with it?
