Compatilble with SQL Server Management Studio 2008 Express?

I'm not sure if there is any difference between the SQL Management Studio installed with SQL 2008 Express and the one installed with SQL 2008 Standard.

Are there any compatibility issues with SQL Source Control when trying to use SQL Management Studio as installed with SQL 2008 Express?

    Nope, just trying to decide if I can get away with the SQL Management Studio from SQL Express or if I have to install the Standard version.

    If you're not aware of any issues, I'll try the Express one and see what happens.

    I just wanted to clarify that we are NOT supporting SSMS 2008 Express. We can prevent SQL Source Control from loading in SSMS 2005 Express, but we can NOT prevent it in 2008 Express.

    It may work, but unfortunately, if there are any issues we will NOT be able to support them at this time.

    The supported versions can be found on our website at http://www.red-gate.com/Products/SQL_Source_Control and then select "Requirements and prerequisites" on the right.
