Upgrading from 2005 to 2008

Hi we're upgrading our sql server edition from 2005 std to 2008 enterprise.

Are there any documents or articles that relate to the redgate backup procedures? do I need to reinstall redgate after the upgrade?

    Many thanks for your post.

    After upgrading the server from 2005 to 2008, it is advisable to re-run the installer to set up the server side components.

    On the below page, you will want to look at the section which describes installing the server components manually:
