I have a database (SQL 2008) and when I compare to a script folder I get the error: An item with the same key has already been added. The database has a filtered index on one table. The scrip folder has a script with the same filtered index but on another table. If I remove the filtered index from the script I do not get the error.

Hello,
Please let us know the version of SQL Compare you're using. 8.0 and maybe even 8.1 had some problem with partitioned data, which is what I think you are telling us. Check for Updates on the help menu will get you up to 8.1; if the problem still happens in 8.1, there is also the "cumulative patch" you can try (see the sticky topic near the top of the forum). -
I'm using version 8.1.0.360. Running Check for Updates returns No updates available. I've sent a example of how to reproduce the issue in an e-mail

The latest cumulative patch isn't available on Check for Updates yet. You can find it linked from here:

Let us know whether this fixes your issue.
Thanks!
