Debugging sharepoint 2010 assemblies: DLLs don't match

I’m using Reflector Pro to try to debug through SharePoint code (sharepoint 2010, to be precise).

However I get the following (and debug DOESN’T work). How do you recommend I workaround this?

Knowing it’s not “supportedâ€â€”could I backup the GAC version and replace it with the decompiled version? The GAC version is in GAC_MSIL—will that work or do I need to do an intermediate step?

Or is there a better solution? How do I debug through the gac assemblies?

    That might do the trick, but you shouldn’t need to go that far. It might also be the “specific version†flag of the reference within visual studio. I’ve been looking at that recently, and worked out that setting specific version to true fixes things sometimes, so I've made reflector pro set that for you in future builds.
