Hi and thanks for reporting this.
I'm a bit worried that it crashes your SSMS as this is something that should never happen. Could you list me some system details?
SSMS version
Operating System
Do you get an exception when it crashes? Does it just crash straight away when loading in or when you perform a particular action?
Thanks -
I am actually having the same issue. I got 5-6 errors asking me to send an error report to Redgate then once I connected to my SQL Server it crashed.
My information is as follows:
SSMS Version: 10.5.1352.12
Operating System: 5.1.2600 (Windows XP)
SQL Server Version: 10.0.2531.0
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Matt -
I'm getting the same error, on Windows Server 2008R2, running November CTP of SQL2008R2

Ok, definitely going to take a look at this today. I think it's probably a bug so thanks to everyone for reporting this.

I just installed SQL Search beta on my system and now the add-in crashes my server management studio. I think they must have changed how they configure add-ins as it no longer works.
Thanks
