I don't understand why I would install a SQL Data Compare patch when I am trying to get SQL Compare (no Data) to work. Can you please explain why I would do this? Ok, it looks like it may have fixed it for one case, but there are still procedures where I get that error when initiating a synch. Ok, it looks like it may have fixed it for one case, but there are still procedures where I get that error when initiating a synch.

It started with just one stored procedure in particular, but now there are a few of them that lead to this error. And it won't let me get a script when they are checked.
I am using SQL Compare 8.1.0.360 with SQL 2005 as the source and SQL 2008 as the destination and vice-versa (also tried it with both sides being SQL 2005 on the same server instance).
I tried it on both Windows XP and Windows 7 and get the same error.
Please help me.
