If you did a new install directly to 22.3, you probably don't have a rollback option. If you updated from version 22.2, then the option to “Rollback to previous version” should be under the “More” button on the Visual Studio Installer screen. / comments

Same issue for me. How do you downgrade to SSMS version 22.2? Do you have to do a full uninstall of SSMS 22.3 and then re-install 22.2? Also, uninstalling SQL Prompt wasn't sufficient. Had to uninstall SQL Search as well before I was able to connect to a SQL server without crashing. / comments

I have found that if I go into Extensions -→ Customize Menu, I see SQL Prompt available and checked, but it still doesn't show up in SSMS. If I uncheck that, close it, and go back and re-enable it and then restart SSMS, SQL Prompt shows up as expected. Somewhere, there's a glitch with the initial enabling of the extension. / comments

SQLPrompt_10.16.9.16203 says it supports SSMS 21, but when I install it, the installer doesn't detect it and SSMS 21 doesn't show any sign of it. What's the issue? I'm running SSMS 21 preview 5. / comments
