That does sound a bit annoying! It might be worth checking if SQL Prompt is having trouble maintaining its authentication session, especially in an RDP environment. Maybe try running SSMS as an administrator or checking if any group policies or session timeouts are affecting it. Have you noticed any pattern to when the prompt appears?
