Hi Josh, Thank you for looking into this. Here are my responses: 1. For item # 1 please see the attached Word file with two screenshots. In this case we are getting alerts for long running jobs, but the alert provides no information about which job or jobs are running long. Many of our servers have 50 plus jobs and if we have to manually connect to the SQL Server and come up with queries to find out which jobs are running long, then this kind of defeats the purpose of having a sophisticated tool like Redgate Monitor. 2. I could not find an easy way to copy and paste a SQL server name in configuration/monitored servers page. A much easier way to do this is on the alerts page itself. If for a particular alert, we click on the 3 dots (ellipsis) and choose "Alias" ...... here we can copy the server name from the "Instance name" field and we don't have to create an alias. However, this is a very inconvenient and roundabout way of doing this and even if this were doable from the configuration/monitored servers page, this would be even more inconvenient. The alert card should directly make copy and paste available which is standard functionality in applications these days. Thoughts? Again, thank you for looking into this. I really appreciate it. If others have any thoughts regarding this, please feel free to chime in. Warm regards, Azhar Taj / comments
