I have posted in other "BUG in SQL Prompt latest version" postings and can agree with LucyC that restarting SSMS has not fixed ANY of our instances and we have several SSMS 18.x versions on the floor (18.11.x and 18.12.x, multiple of those too) and restart has not assisted any of them. There is less breakage in the Visual Studio version of SQL Prompt but the SSMS version is a hot mess right now. / comments

Another thread that has been started may alsobe applicable here -- the SQLPrompt "intellisense" seems broke in 10.13.11.1536 version which would (and does) prevent the column viewer from popping up because it has no columns to show because it is not recognizing ANY db objects while writing SQL in SSMS 18.x. We have several SSMS 18.x versions running around here and all that have updated to lastest SQLPrompt are impacted and we aren't all on the same version of SSMS 18.x. / comments

just piling on here in hopes for a fast fix -- the latest SQL prompt (10.13.11.1536) is no longer providing suggestions nor will columns appear in the column dialog pop-up which I presume is driven by the fact that SQL Prompt no longer seems to be indexing DB objects. This shutsdown SQL Prompt "intellisense" feature which mostly nullifies its use. Yes, snippets seem to be working somewhat but it could also be that only the default built-in snips seem to be the only snips working because trying to use a user/custom snip today and it would not expand/recognize. Everything, and I mean everything, was working prior to me upgrading on Friday. DB version has not changed. DB config has not changed (best anyone of our DBAs can tell). SSMS has not been upgraded or reconfigured. The SQLPrompt Intellisense capability for Visual Studio 2022 still seems to be mostly intact (have not extensively tested, but column, table, alias, some snip expansion and suggestions work still) but it is dead on arrival in nearly all use-cases for SSMS. / comments
